Seattle – Troon has renewed its management agreement with the City of Seattle to oversee the city’s municipal golf facilities for an additional 15 years. The golf facilities under this agreement include the Interbay Golf Center, Jackson Park Golf Course, Bill Wright Golf Course at Jefferson Park, and the West Seattle Golf Course. Troon has managed these facilities for over two decades through its subsidiary, Premier Golf Centers, ensuring a long-standing relationship focused on providing quality golf experiences to the Seattle community.

The renewed agreement will see Troon and Premier Golf supporting various capital improvements at the city’s golf facilities. This commitment to enhancing the facilities aims to ensure that golf remains an accessible and enjoyable sport for residents and visitors alike.

Ryan Whitney, Vice President of Operations at Troon, expressed enthusiasm about the renewal, underscoring the importance of commitment to providing affordable golfing options in the Seattle area.

Premier Golf Centers, which operates the Seattle facilities, was founded in 2001 by Bill Schickler and became a subsidiary of Troon in September 2019. Troon itself operates at more than 940 locations globally, managing over 575 golf courses and specializing in various hospitality services aimed at enhancing the golfing experience.

The prominent brands under Troon’s umbrella include Troon Golf, Troon Privé, Troon International, among others, showcasing the company’s extensive presence and influence within the golf industry.

This long-term agreement not only highlights Troon’s dedication to managing the community’s golf facilities but also assures residents of Seattle that they can expect ongoing improvements and maintained accessibility to their local golf options for years to come.
