The search for answers is underway following the discovery of human remains in a Tesla linked to musician D4vd as part of a homicide investigation in a Hollywood tow yard. The remains of a woman were found on Monday afternoon, raising concerns as law enforcement investigates the case as a potential homicide.

The remains were found around 12:20 p.m. at Hollywood Tow on Mansfield Avenue. Authorities had responded to a report of a foul odor emanating from the front trunk of a parked Tesla with Texas plates. The vehicle had been abandoned for five days in the Bird Streets neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills before the grim discovery was made.

Initial examinations characterized the remains as severely decomposed and contained within a bag, complicating identification efforts. The Los Angeles County medical examiner reported that the decedent had likely been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time. Investigators have yet to determine the woman’s age or racial background, although she is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 71 pounds, with wavy black hair.

At the time of death, the woman was wearing a tube top and black leggings in size small, along with yellow metal stud earrings and a yellow metal chain bracelet. A tattoo reading “Shhh…” on her right index finger was also noted. The initial report indicated that only a head and torso had been recovered from the vehicle.

Connection to D4vd has created widespread interest in the case. The Tesla is registered to David Anthony Burke, who performs under the name D4vd and has garnered significant popularity with 3.6 million followers on TikTok and 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Despite the correlation, D4vd is cooperating fully with investigators and is not suspected of any involvement in the woman’s death. The musician recently performed in Minneapolis just a day after the remains were found, and he is scheduled to perform again in Los Angeles on September 20.

In a related development, the body of a second woman was uncovered on Tuesday in South Los Angeles, found in a scorched Honda Civic. This vehicle had been towed to a yard on West Gage Avenue after it was extinguished by L.A. City Fire officials following a vehicle fire. The woman’s family had filed a missing persons report prior to the find and tracked her to the Honda Civic, prompting police intervention. Authorities believe the two cases are unrelated.

The investigation surrounding these discoveries has raised numerous questions and concerns among the local community, highlighting the urgency for answers as officials work diligently to piece together the circumstances surrounding the deaths. As investigations progress, the police have emphasized their commitment to uncovering the truth behind these tragic events.

Law enforcement continues to urge anyone with information regarding either of the two cases to come forward. The ongoing inquiries not only seek to provide closure for the families affected but also aim to ensure safety within the community amidst these unsettling incidents.
