The new Scarecrow Course, developed in collaboration with Nick Schaan of DMK Golf Design, aims to offer golfers a contrasting yet complementary experience, designed to challenge players with a more rugged terrain and richer green contours.

The Scarecrow Course will feature an exciting layout, playing to a par of 71 and stretching over 6,900 yards. Golfers can expect fast and firm surfaces, thanks to the traditional fine fescue turf used throughout the course. The opening hole is a short par-4 that encourages a variety of risk-and-reward strategies, setting the tone for a creative round as players navigate diverse angles and slopes.

Players will also be treated to stunning scenic views, including a picturesque vineyard backdrop on the 9th hole of the Scarecrow Course. The addition of this course expands the range of golfing options available for visitors, which also includes the QuickSands short course and the Cascades putting course located behind the Inn.

The expanded accommodations at Gamble Sands now feature 40 double-king golf-view rooms, increasing the total number of luxury accommodations to 77. Additionally, new dining options have been introduced at the clubhouse and the newly revamped Barn restaurant. Golfers can take advantage of the new golf shop and practice facility, further enhancing their experience at this beautiful resort.

Accessibility to Gamble Sands has improved, with convenient travel options available from major cities including Seattle, which is a three-plus hour drive away; Wenatchee, located 90 minutes from the resort; and Spokane, which is a 2.5 hour journey.
